Franklin County vs. Scott County (Boys)
Franklin County coach Tony Wise started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. DeMarcus Kennedy, 6-3 Sr. Michael Clark, 6-5 Sr. Cooper Giles, 5-7 8th Grade Diablo Stewart, and 6-2 Sr. Ryan Schneider. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Sr. Isaiah Johnson, 6-2 Sr. Hines Jones, 6-4 So. Cooper Watts, 5-10 Sr. Jamel Banks, and 6-0 Sr. Clarien Washington.

Shelby Valley defeated Franklin County 57-52 in overtime. Franklin County led 38-23 in the third quarter but Shelby Valley rallied for the victory. The Wildcats connected on 19 of 28 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 19 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 41.5% from the field including zero of nine from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on 18 of 32 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Shelby Valley turnovers.
Hunter Swindall led Shelby Valley with 19 points and five rebounds. Dalton Richardson added 13 points including three three point baskets. Andrew Newsome recorded 11 points and eight rebounds. Clarien Washington hits a runner in the lane with 1.5 seconds left in the game and adds a free throw to give Scott County a 71-69 victory over Wayne County. Wayne County missed some key free throws down the stretch and Scott County held a commanding 23-11 advantage in second chance points. Scott County led 50-37 in the third quarter but Wayne County rallied and actually held a 69-68 lead in the closing seconds before Washingtons heroics.
Scott County shot 42.3% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. Scott County attempted 22 more shots (71-49) from the field than Wayne County. The Cardinals connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Wayne County turnovers. Wayne County shot 53.1% from the field including 11 of 21 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on six of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Scott County turnovers.
