Collins vs. Eastern

 

Collins coach Sean Pigman started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Hannah Renfro, 5-7 So. Jeann Hayes, 6-1 So. Mary-Clare Megibben, 5-7 Fr. Olivia Federle, and 5-7 So. Carson Murray.  Eastern coach Josh Leslie countered with 5-11 So. Devin Beach, 5-10 Sr. Natalie Collins, 5-11 So. Mikayla Kinnard, 5-6 Jr. Brea Mishler, and 5-8 So. Kiara Pearl.

 

Eastern pulled away late to defeat Collins by a score of 71-52.  Eastern shot 43.1% from the field including 11 of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 21 Collins turnovers.  Collins shot 42% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Titans connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored four points off 10 Eastern turnovers.

 

Brea Mishler led Eastern with 19 points including five three point baskets.  Kiara Pearl added 14 points and Devin Beach recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.  Mikayla Kinnard added eight points and seven rebounds.  Natalie Collins chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

 

Hannah Renfro led Collins with 15 points and nine rebounds.  Olivia Federle led added 12 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Carson Murray chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.

Scott County vs. Green County

 

Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Maaliya Owens, 5-8 Sr. Kadee Hudson, 6-1 Fr. Malea Williams, 5-5 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle.  Green County coach Chris Blaydes countered with 5-8 Jr. Shelby Howell, 5-6 Jr. Ivy Hedgepeth, 6-1 Sr. Whitney Perian, 5-3 Sr. Myra Schrembs, and 5-4 Jr. Hannah Judd.

 

Scott County trailed 45-33 in the third quarter but rallied to eke out a 75-72 overtime victory over Green County.  Scott County shot 38.6% from the field including nine of 28 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Green County turnovers.  Green County shot 38% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Dragons connected on 14 of 27 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 23 points on 21 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 21 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots.  Maaliya Owens added 19 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Morgan DeFoor recorded 17 points and four rebounds.  Malea Williams pulled down 11 rebounds.

 

Myra Schrembs led Green County with 20 points, four rebounds, and four steals.  Shelby Howell added 19 points and 13 rebounds.  Whitney Perian recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocked shots.  Hannah Judd chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.

Bryan Station vs. Fairdale

 

Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Emoni Washington, 5-6 Sr. Carah Burdette, 5-8 Sr. Jazmyn Burtes, 5-5 Sr. Jlyn Martin, and 5-5 Jr. Kyrah Hardin.  Fairdale coach Marco Price countered with 5-8 Fr. Sheree Lattimore, 5-6 Jr. Maria Nylund, 5-9 Fr. Janaesha Jefferson, 5-4 So. Tyasia Brown, and 5-5 Sr. Valerie Johnson.

 

The score was tied 47-47 after three quarters but Bryan Station pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Fairdale 64-56.  There were seven lead changes and four ties in this game.  Bryan Station shot 37.7% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 14 of 26 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 24 Fairdale turnovers.  Fairdale shot 32.8% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Carah Burdette led Bryan Station with 20 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  5-6 So. KeyLynn Clay added 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Emoni Washington recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Jlyn Martin chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

 

Valerie Johnson led Fairdale with 22 points and six rebounds.  5-4 Fr. Shanice Thomas added 13 points and 12 rebounds.  Maria Nylund recorded nine points and 10 rebounds.  Tyasia Brown chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.

Christian Academy of Louisville defeated Breckinridge County by a score of 72-63.  CAL shot 42.9% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Breckinridge County turnovers.  Breckinridge County shot 37.1% from the field including eight of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 CAL turnovers.

 

Sarah McDonald led CAL with 24 points and 12 rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Emma Frank added 16 points and seven rebounds.  Shelby Calhoun recorded 15 points, 17 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.

 

Lily Grimes led Breckinridge County with 18 points.  Kayla Young added 14 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Natalee Tabor also scored 14 points. Sherry Shrewsberry recorded seven points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

DuPont Manual defeated Holmes by a score of 48-45.  There were 10 lead changes and two ties in this game.  DuPont Manual shot 39.1% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Holmes turnovers.  Holmes shot 32.5% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 15 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 DuPont Manual turnovers.

 

Tonysha Curry led DuPont Manual with 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Aniah Griffin added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Nila Blackford recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Jaela Johnson chipped in with eight points and three steals.

 

Laila Johnson led Holmes with 15 points, six rebounds, and five steals.  Jaynice Stovall added 12 points including eight of eight free throws.  Tyrah McClendon-Engleman chipped in with seven points.

Elizabethtown trailed 49-45 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Lafayette by a score of 67-56.  The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Elizabethtown shot 49% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady panthers connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 27 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 45.1% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 27 Elizabethtown turnovers.

 

Jada Stinson led Elizabethtown with 26 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals.  Tanisia Murphy added 16 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  Karson Knight recorded 12 points and four rebounds.  Kendall Pack pulled down nine rebounds and recorded five steals.  Taylor Thomas pulled down seven rebounds.

 

Kiara Pankins led Lafayette with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Lindi DeBilzan added 13 points including four three point baskets and three steals.  Caroline Bennett chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
