The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions is one of the only tournaments left in the country that brings in the best teams in the country across shoe and non-shoe affiliations. The win or go home style brings out the best in players and is widely covered by local, regional, and national media outlets.
I initially followed this tournament because of the presence of some of the Kentucky teams and players. However, I got hooked on the entire tourney and was amazed at the depth and scope of the coverage. The analysis of the different writers was spot on on the players I have personally seen in person and on tape. HoopSeen and their staff did an unbelievable job and basically covered the game from A to Z. Please visit the event website and follow the complete stories and player analysis. The writers followed the established players both household names on the AAU circuit as well as discovering and publicizing the hidden gems who are poised to move into elite status. Nobody does it better.
