Owensboro Catholic outscored Johnson Central 20-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 56-46 victory over Johnson Central. The second quarter proved to be disastrous for Johnson Central as they outscored Owensboro Catholic by a total of 41-36 in the other three quarters. Johnson Central could only manage to connect on one of nine from the field while Owensboro Catholic was eight of 13 during the second quarter.
Owensboro Catholic shot 51.3% from the field including zero of four from beyond the arc. The Lady Aces connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers. Johnson Central shot 36.6% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.
Hannah McKay led Owensboro Catholic with 23 points and 10 rebounds. McKay was 11 of 15 from the field and one of one from the free throw line. MacKenzie Keelin added eight points and four rebounds. Ellie Mitchell recorded six points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Sarah Clemens added six points, four rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.
Kelci Blair led Johnson Central with 11 points and three steals. Ashley Belcher added nine points and six rebounds. Sammi Sites recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Alaina Castle chipped in with eight points and four assists.

Mercer County shot 41.8% from the field including 12 of 29 from the three point line. The Lady Titans connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed four turnovers. Owensboro Catholic shot 56.8% from the field including five of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Aces connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.
Emma Davis came up big today and led Mercer County with 21 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds. Seygan Robbins added 18 points including four three point baskets, nine assists, and three steals. Emmy Souder recorded 10 points and eight rebounds. Mercer County coach Chris Souder countered with 5-10 Sr. Emma Davis, 5-9 Sr. Faith Lake, 6-2 Sr. Emmy Souder, 5-9 Sr. Seygan Robbins, and 5-8 Sr. Lexy Lake.
Mercer County defeated George Rogers Clark by a score of 44-27. Mercer County shot 38.7% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Titans connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 George Rogers Clark turnovers. George Rogers Clark shot 28.6% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Mercer County turnovers.
Faith Lake led Mercer County with 11 points including three three point baskets. Emmy Souder added 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Lexy Lake recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Seygan Robbins chipped in with seven points and five assists. Emma Davis pulled down nine rebounds.
Shemaya Behanan led George Rogers Clark with nine points including five of six free throws and six rebounds. Hayley Harrison added eight points. Maleaha Bell recorded six points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Mercy Academy outscored Boyd County 29-10 in the third quarter to take control in a 78-59 victory. The score was tied eight times and there were 10 lead changes in the game. Mercy Academy shot 44.1% from the field including 11 of 22 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 52 rebounds, held a 19-2 advantage in second chance points, and scored eight points off eight Boyd County turnovers. Boyd County shot 36.2% from the field including eight of 32 from beyond the arc. The Lady Lions connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Mercy Academy turnovers.
Taziah Jenks led Mercy Academy with 24 points including four three point baskets, eight rebounds, and six assists. Danielle Feldkamp added 15 points, 17 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Hope Sivori recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. Regan Berger chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets. Raquael Reese pulled down nine rebounds.
Harley Paynter led Boyd County with 22 points including five three point baskets. Savannah Wheeler added 22 points including seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, and three steals. Graci Borders pulled down nine rebounds.

Mercer County ended Mercy Academy’s great tournament run by a score of 74-34 to add their goal of back-to-back championships. Mercer County utilized their long range marksmanship as they connected on 16 three point baskets. Mercer County shot 57.1% from the field including 16 of 26 from the three point line. The Lady Titans connected on two of nine free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 16 Mercy Academy turnovers. Mercy Academy shot 30.2% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine Mercer County turnovers.
Lexy Lake led Mercer County with 17 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Lexy was six of six from the field including five of five from beyond the arc. Emma Davis also scored 17 points including five three point baskets and four rebounds. Emmy Souder recorded 15 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots. Seygan Robbins chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and seven assists.
Taziah Jenks led Mercy Academy with nine points. Hope Sivori added seven points, four rebounds, and three steals. Raquael Reese pulled down six rebounds. Danielle Feldkamp recorded four points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.
