West Team Coach Jeannie Hebert-Truax started the following lineup: 6-2 Aquira DeCosta, 6-0 Zarielle Green, 6-5 Charli Collier, 5-10 Honesty Scott-Grayson, and 5-11 Christyn Williams. East Team Coach Dawn Seiler countered with 6-4 Olivia Nelson-Ododa, 6-2 Emily Engstler, 6-7 Sedona Prince, 5-8 Destanni Henderson, and 5-10 Izabela Nicoletti.
The West Team defeated the East Team by a score of 82-79. The score was tied four times and there were five lead changes in the game. The West Team shot 37.8% from the field including six of 25 from the three point line. They connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 64 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 21 East turnovers. The East Team shot 36.9% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc. They connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 West turnovers.
Christyn Williams was named West Team MVP and led the team with 22 points including four three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Queen Egbo added 13 points, eight rebounds, and five blocked shots. Catherine Reese recorded eight points and five rebounds. Aquira DeCosta added six points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
Madison Williams led the East Team with 13 points and seven rebounds. Sedona Prince added 12 points, four rebounds, and three blocked shots. Destanni Henderson recorded 11 points including three three point baskets. Olivia Nelson-Ododa chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.

East Team Coach John Mirabello countered with 6-6 Zion Williamson, 6-7 RJ Barrett, 6-10 Nazreon Reid, 6-2 Darius Garland, and 6-6 Romeo Langford.
The West Team won a hotly contested 131-128 victory over the East Team. The score was tied nine times and there were 10 lead changes in the game. The East Team had a chance for the tie but a three point shot missed in the final seconds. The West Team shot 55.8% from the field including 10 of 27 from the three point line. They connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 26 East turnovers. The East Team shot 50.9% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc. They connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 62 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 18 West turnovers.
Nassir Little was named MVP and led the West Team with 28 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Jordan Brown added 26 points and eight rebounds. Reggie Perry recorded 15 points and seven rebounds. Quentin Grimes chipped in with 14 points including two three point baskets and six assists. Darius Bazley added 11 points and seven rebounds. Cameron Reddish recorded 11 points, nine assists, and five steals.
RJ Barrett led the East Team with 26 points. Barrett was 10 of 14 from the field including one of two from beyond the arc, and five of five free throws. Romeo Langford added 19 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists. Nazreon Reid recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds. David McCormack chipped in with 14 points and 10 rebounds. EJ Montgomery and Jalen Smith each scored 12 points and Moses Brown added 11 points.

Immanuel Quickley and Cameron Reddish were Co-Champions in the boys’ three point championship and McKenzie Forbes captured the girls’ three point competition. Romeo Langford, Christyn Williams, and Candice Wiggins won the Legends and Stars Shootout. Zion Williamson won the dunk competition.
There was a tremendous amount of talent during both games tonight with a virtual who’s who of high school basketball with many of these players destined to make their marks at the college level and beyond. Simple words don’t do justice to the skill levels and athleticism on display tonight.
