Freshman There were six teams entered in this division and placed into one pool as follows: Pool A: Floyd County Central, Scott County, Lexington Christian Academy, Bell County, Tates Creek, and Lexington Catholic.
Junior Varsity There were sixteen teams entered in this division. They were placed into four pools as follows: Pool A; East Jessamine, Lexington Catholic, Mason County, and Harlan Independent, Pool B: Newport, Floyd County Central, Dunbar, and Western, Pool C: Lexington Christian Academy, Johnson Central, Harlan County, and Thomas Nelson, and Pool D: George Rogers Clark, Clinton County, Middlesboro, and Tates Creek.
Varsity There were twenty three teams entered in this division. They were placed into six pools as follows: Pool A: Newport, Mason County, Bath County, and Tates Creek, Pool B: George Rogers Clark, Clinton County, Frederick Douglass 1, and Harlan Independent, Pool C: Harlan County, Scott County-Blue, Floyd County Central, and Thomas Nelson, Pool D: Lexington Christian Academy, Middlesboro, Frederick Douglass 2, and Western, Pool E: Scott County-Red, Johnson Central, East Jessamine, and Seneca, and Pool F: Covington Holy Cross, Bell County, and Dunbar.

Floyd County Central 50 Harlan Independent 33 (Quarterfinal) Brady Conn led Floyd County Central with 16 points. Jordan Akal paced Harlan Independent with 14 points.
East Jessamine 51 Frederick Douglass 1 51 (Semifinal) Tyler Pitney, Michael Powell, and Kenzel Wadkins led East Jessamine with 18, 14, and 11 points respectively. Trent Grundy led Frederick Douglass 1 with 14 points including three three point baskets. Nakhir Joyce added nine points.
Johnson Central 15 Floyd County Central 0 (Semifinal) This game was recorded as a forfeit. Floyd County Central led 53-47 after three quarters but Johnson Central rallied to lead 62-59 with 2:30 left in the game when Floyd County Central pulled their team from the floor. Jacob Rice, Isaiah May, and Cory Van Hoose led Johnson Central at their stage with 22, 19, and 11 points respectively. Floyd County central had been led by Brady Conn, Rylee Samons, and Ethan Mills with 19, 19, and 14 points respectively.
Johnson Central 90 East Jessamine 72 (Championship) Jacob Rice, Cory Van Hoose, and Bryson Hackney led Johnson Central with 22, 20, and 14 points respectively. Will OBryan led East Jessamine with 19 points including three three point baskets. Kenzel Wadkins, Mike Powell, and Tyler Pitney added 18, 11, and 11 points respectively.
Varsity Tournament Championship
Scott County Blue 67 Seneca 53- Michael Mckenzie, KJ Tucker, and Chase Grigsby led Scott County with 27, 12, and 12 points respectively. Richard Ninamon and Delshawn Sims led Seneca with 11 points each.
Dunbar 65 Western 39 Nate Clark and Michael Corio led Dunbar with 15 and 14 points respectively. Jaden Neal led Western with 13 points.
Newport 45 George Rogers Clark 44 (Quarterfinal) Tahj Harding hit a basket ti the lane with four seconds left on the clock to give Newport the victory. Makhi McGuire and Tahj Harding led the victors with 18 and 17 points respectively to earn a big victory over a good GRC team. Jordan Graham, Derek Wellman, and Brennan Canada
Frederick Douglass 2 62 Scott County Blue 30 (Quarterfinal) Brendan Reynolds and Jacob Kenney led Frederick Douglass with 16 and 10 points respectively. KJ Tucker and Elias Rodenberg led Scott County with nine points each.
Scott County Red 69 Clinton County 54 (Quarterfinal) Lorenzo Williams led Scott County with 19 points. Bryce Long added 15 points including four three point baskets. Glenn Covington and Terrin Hamilton recorded 13 and 12 points respectively. Jackson Harlan led Clinton County with 25 points.
Harlan County 58 Dunbar 40 (Quarterfinal) Jacob Wilson, Taylor Spurlock, and Alex Pace led Harlan County with 14, 12, and 10 points respectively. Walker Mack and Michael Corio led Dunbar with 10 points each.
Frederick Douglass 2 64 Newport 59 (Semifinal) Skylar Hart and DeShawn Jackson led Frederick Douglass with 13 points each. Daeshawn White, Donnie Miller, and Tahj Harding led Newport with 20, 19, and 12 points respectively.
Scott County Red 79 Harlan County 59 (Semifinal) Bryce Long led Scott County with 26 points including three three point baskets. Lorenzo Williams and Glenn Covington added 22 and 18 points respectively. Alex Pace, Jacob Wilson, and Tyler Cole led Harlan County with 19, 11, and 10 points respectively.
Frederick Douglass 2 66 Scott County 62 (Championship) Frederick Douglass 2 withstood a late rally to defeat Scott County 66-62 in a game that featured intense competition, several technical fouls, and one Scott County player ejection. DeShawn Jackson, Jacob Kenney, and Jayden Brown led a balanced Frederick Douglass attack with 14, 11, and 10 points respectively. Cam Fluker, Bryce Long, Lorenzo Williams, and Terrin Hamilton led Scott County with 17, 15, 13, and 11 points respectively.

There was some good basketball played this weekend and the staff did an excellent job of completing this week under some difficult circumstances.
