Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (27-2) vs. Barr-Reeve ((26-2) Class A (Championship)

 

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian coach Marc Davidson started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Frank Davidson, 6-3 So. Zane Burke, 6-10 So. Caleb Furst, 5-7 Sr. Michael Pulver, and 6-0 Sr. Abe Hicks.  Barr-Reeve coach Josh Thompson countered with 6-6 Sr. Austin Ainscough, 6-3 So. Brycen Graber, 6-8 Jr. Keagan O’Neill, 6-0 Sr. Isaac Wagler, and 6-1 Sr. Gabe Gladish.

 

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian led by 25 points in the third quarter on their way to a 60-43 victory over Barr-Reeve.  Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian shot 50% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Braves connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and 13 points off 12 Barr-Reeve turnovers.  Barr-Reeve shot 35.8% from the field including three of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Vikings connected on two of five free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian turnovers.

 

Frank Davidson led Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian with 20, points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.  Caleb Furst added 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and five blocked shots.  Zane Burk recorded 10 points.  Michael Pulver chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

 

Gabe Gladish led Barr-Reeve with 12 points and two steals.  Isaac Wagler added 10 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists.  Brycen Graber recorded 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Andrean (20-8) vs. Linton-Stockton (27-3) Class 2A (Championship)

 

Andrean coach Brad Stangel started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Matthew Lelito, 6-3 So. Deshon Burnett, 6-7 So. Kyle Ross, 6-1 So. Benjamin Jones, and 6-3 Sr. John Carrothers.  Linton-Stockton coach Joey Hart countered with 6-4 So. Lincoln Hale, 6-3 Jr. Kip Fougerousse, 6-5 Sr. Sammy Robbins, 5-11 Sr. Evan Slover, and 6-1 Sr. Tucker Hayes.

 

Andrean trailed 54-48 with 2:05 left in the game but finished the game on an 11-0 run to earn a 59-54 victory over Linton-Stockton.  There were five lead changes and nine ties in this game.  Andrean shot 48.7% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Fighting 59ers connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Linton-Stockton turnovers.  Linton-Stockton shot 42% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Miners connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 Andrean turnovers.

 

Kyle Ross led Andrean with 16 points including five of six free throws, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  John Carrothers added 16 points including seven of eight free throws and four rebounds.  6-0 So. Nicholas Flesher recorded 12 points including six of nine free throws.

 

Tucker Hayes led Linton-Stockton with 15 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.  Kip Fougerousse added 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and six assists.  Lincoln Hayes recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  Evan Slover chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Sammy Robbins added seven points and eight rebounds.

Culver Academies (24-3) vs. Silver Creek (24-3)  Class 3A (Championship)

 

Culver Academies coach Mark Galloway started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Trey Galloway, 6-0 Sr. Jordan Freeman, 6-5 Jr. Deontae Craig, 5-9 Sr. John Cohen, and 6-1 Sr. Ethan Brittain-Watts.  Silver Creek coach Brandon Hoffman countered with 6-6 So. Kooper Jacobi, 6-6 Sr. Jack Hawkins, 6-8 So. Trey Kaufman, 6-1 Sr. Ty Kessinger, and 6-2 Sr. Zane Gross.

 

Silver Creek defeated Culver Academies by a score of 52-49.  Silver Creek led 51-49 in the last minute but Culver Academies had two chances to either tie or take the lead but failed and Silver Creek held on for the victory.  The score was tied twice and there were two lead changes in the game. 

 

Silver Creek shot 50% from the field including five from the three point line.  The Dragons only managed to connect on nine of 26 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off six Culver Academies turnovers.  Culver Academies shot 37% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles managed to connect on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven Silver Creek turnovers.

 

Zane Gross led Silver Creek with 15 points.  Kooper Jacobi added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Jack Hawkins recorded eight points and nine rebounds.  Ty Kessinger chipped in with eight points and three assists.  Trey Kaufman added four points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and two blocked shots.

 

Ethan Brittain-Watts led Culver Academies with 23 points including three three point baskets, four of five free throws, and three steals.  Trey Galloway added 13 points including three three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Deontae Craig recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.

Carmel coach Ben Osborn started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Andrew Owens, 6-2 Fr. Pete Suder, 6-10 Sr. John Michael Mulloy, 5-10 Sr. Karsten Windlan, and 5-11 Sr. Luke Heady.  Ben Davis coach Don Carlisle countered with 6-7 Sr. Jeffrey Clayton, 6-5 Sr. Jalen Windham, 6-9 Sr. Dawand Jones, 5-10 Sr. Cameron Maul, and 5-11 Sr. Dominic Day II.

 

Carmel defeated Ben Davis by a score of 60-55 in a game in which they never relinquished the lead.  Carmel shot 46.5% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Greyhounds connected on 17 of 30 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Ben Davis turnovers.  Ben Davis shot 45% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Carmel turnovers.

 

Pete Suder led Carmel with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  John Michael Mulloy added 13 points, six rebounds, and two assists.  Karsten Windlan recorded 11 points including six of eight free throws, and five rebounds.  Andrew Owens chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Luke Heady recorded seven points on seven of 12 free throws and five assists.

 

Jalen Windham led Ben Davis with 22 points including 13 of 14 free throws.  Dawand Jones added 16 points and nine rebounds.
