Indiana started the following lineup: Nan Garcia, Kendall Bostic, Madison Layden, Jasmine McWilliams, and Sydney Parrish. Kentucky countered with Charlee Settle, Maddie Scherr, Taziah Jenks, Destinee Marshall, and Ally Collett.
Kentucky led 79-68 in the final quarter but Indiana rallied to earn an 89-85 victory. There were seven lead changes and four ties in the game. Indiana had an 18-3 scoring run in their comeback. Indiana shot 44.3% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc. They connected on 19 of 31 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 29 Kentucky turnovers. Kentucky shot 41% from the field including 11 of 35 from the three point line. They connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Indiana turnovers.
Kendall Bostic led Indiana with 27 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots. Sydney Parrish added 26 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists. Jasmine McWilliams recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
Hope Sivori led Kentucky with 13 points and four rebounds. Maddie Scherr added 11 points, six rebounds, four assists, and five steals. Kristen Clemons recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Kennedy Igo and Taziah Jenks also scored nine points each.
