Kentucky started the following lineup: Kristen Clemons, Maddie Scherr, Malea Williams, Kennedy Igo, and Kendall Wingler. Indiana countered with Kendall Bostic, Nan Garcia, Sydney Parrish, Ella Collier, and Madison Layden.
Kentucky trailed 73-56 in the third quarter but rallied to earn a 111-107 victory over Indiana. There were 13 lead changes and seven ties in this game. Kentucky shot 50% from the field including 12 of 26 from the three point line. They connected on 23 of 29 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 22 Indiana turnovers. Indiana shot 48.1% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc. They connected on 25 of 34 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 20 Kentucky turnovers.
Maddie Scherr led Kentucky with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and three steals. Taziah Jenks added 14 points and four rebounds. Kennedy Igo and Destinee Marshall each scored 12 points and Marshall connected on three three point baskets. Malea Williams recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
Kendall Bostic led Indiana with 19 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Sydney Parrish also scored 19 points. pulled down five rebounds, and blocked two shots. Ella Collier recorded 15 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. Nan Garcia chipped in with 14 points and five rebounds. Kristian Young also reached double digits with 10 points.
