USA Team coach Scott Fitch started the following lineup: 6-10 Vernon Carey Jr., 6-9 Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, 7-1 James Wiseman, 6-3 Cole Anthony, and 6-4 Tyrese Maxey.  World Team coach Roy Rana countered with 6-9 Precious Achiuwa, 6-6 Josh Green, 6-11 Kofi Cockburn, 6-4 Nico Mannion, and 6-6 Didi Louzada Silva.

 

The USA Team survived an excellent and at times dominating performance by PG Nico Mannion to eke out a 93-87 victory over the World Team.  The USA team outscored the World Team 24-15 in the final quarter to earn the victory.  The score was tied three times and there were 13 lead changes in the game. USA Team shot 50% from the field including four of 20 from the three point line.  They connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and committed five turnovers.  World Team shot 37.2% from the field including nine of 25 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 20 of 38 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and committed eight turnovers.

 

Cole Anthony was named Game MVP and led the USA Team with 25 points including three three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Wendell Moore added 13 points and five rebounds.  James Wiseman recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and six blocked shots and displayed his athleticism on both ends of the court. 

 

Nico Mannion led the World Team with 28 points including three three point baskets, 11 of 14 free throws, five rebounds, and five assists.  Precious Achiuwa added 15 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots.
