Elizabethtown coach Donnie Swiney started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Leikyn Walker, 5-9 Jr. Ellie Taylor, 6-0 Jr. Sydney Clark, 5-5 Sr. Amirr Evans, and 6-0 Jr. Whitney Hay. Male coach Champ Ligon Jr. countered with 6-1 Sr. Cameron Browning, 5-9 So. Alana Striverson, 6-0 Sr. Joelle Johnson, 5-6 Fr. Kynidi Striverson, and 5-7 Sr. Destiny Combs.
Male pulled away in the second half to defeat Elizabethtown by a score of 68-49. Male shot 41.2% from the field including 10 of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Bulldogs connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Elizabethtown turnovers. Elizabethtown shot 32.6% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Panthers connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Male turnovers.
Cameron Browning led Male with 16 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Alana Striverson also scored 16 points including four three point baskets. Kynidi Striverson recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Destiny Combs chipped in with nine points and Joelle Johnson added seven points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
Whitney Hay led Elizabethtown with 27 points including four three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and six steals. Sydney Clark added 12 points including six of six free throws and five rebounds.
