Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Amiya Jenkins, 5-9 Sr. Anna Foley, 6-1 So. Jacie Chesser, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Satterly, and 5-8 Jr. Sophie Smith.  Elizabethtown coach Donnie Swiney countered with 6-0 Sr. Sydney Clark, 5-9 Sr. Elizabeth Taylor, 6-2 Fr. Xaviara Smalley, 5-5 Jr. Kayra Freeman, and 5-6 Sr. Rickeia Cormier. (6-1 Sr. Whitney Hay is out with an injury).

 

Elizabethtown defeated Anderson County by the score of 54-50.  Elizabethtown shot 33.3% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on 19 of 31 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 33.3% from the field including eight of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bearcats connected on eight of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Elizabethtown turnovers.

 

Xaviara Smalley led Elizabethtown with 19 points and 16 rebounds.  Kayra Freeman added 16 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists.  Elizabeth Taylor recorded 12 points including seven of nine free throws and five rebounds.

 

Amiya Jenkins led Anderson County with 18 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and five steals.  6-0 Jr. Tiffany Riley added 10 points, nine rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Jacie Chesser recorded nine points and four rebounds.  Sophie Smith chipped in with six points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Simon Kenton raced out to a 22-4 first quarter lead on their way to a 59-27 victory over Wayne County.  Simon Kenton shot 52.2% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Pioneers connected on five of five free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 19 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 32.3% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Simon Kenton turnovers. 

 

Mattie Vickers led Simon Kenton with 13 points including three three point baskets and three assists.  Sereniti Webb added 10 points and five rebounds.  Maggi Jones recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.  Morgan Stamper chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and three steals.

Great Crossing defeated Scott by the score of 57-53.  The score was tied six times and there were seven lead changes in this game.  Great Crossing shot 41.9% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Warhawks connected on 17 of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Scott turnovers.  Scott shot 38.9% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off 16 Great Crossing turnovers.

 

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 25 points including six of six free throws, nine rebounds, and two steals.  Braylee McMath added 23 points including 11 of 12 free throws, five rebounds, and two steals.

 

Malayia Lewis led a balanced Scott scoring attack with 13 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Sofia Allen added 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots, and three steals.  5-7 Sr. Alyiah Howard recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  Peyton Fields chipped in with nine points.

Tyra Murphy led Conner with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and two steals.  Maddie Drummonds added 16 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Emily Zorich recorded 16 points including four three point baskets and five steals.
