Eastern Vs. DeSales @ Louisville DeSales

 

DeSales trailed Eastern 20-16 after the first quarter but rallied to lead 30-28 at halftime and outscored the Eagles 20-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 68-49 victory.  DeSales shot 61.7% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on six of 11 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds.  Eastern shot 34% from the field including eight of 33 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on five of five free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds.

 

6-10 Sr. Sekou Kalle led DeSales with 23 points and 15 rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Devin Perry added 14 points.  6-3 So.Keith Robinson recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.  6-1 Sr. Luke Thompson chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

 

5-11 Jr. Stacey Anderson led Eastern with 15 points including three three point baskets.  6-5 Sr. Zach Bird added eight points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Sr. Ben Craig recorded six points and seven rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Simon Craig chipped in with six points.

St. Xavier vs. Trinity @ Trinity

 

St. Xavier’s 5-11 Jr. Mekhi Smith only scored one point but he hit the second of two free throws in the closing seconds to give St. Xavier a 57-56 lead and Trinity’s last second shot failed ensuring the Tiger’s victory.  St. Xavier shot 47.6% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on nine of 15 free throws and pulled down 20 rebounds.  Trinity shot 55.3% from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Shamrocks connected on eight of 15 free throws and pulled down 27 rebounds.

 

6-5 Sr. Ayden Mudd led St. Xavier with 21 points including two three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Ben Varga added 19 points including 19 points including five three point baskets and four of six free throws.  6-0 Sr. Calvin Schubert recorded seven points and six rebounds.

 

6-2 Sr. Zach Stahlman led Trinity with 21 points including five three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  6-1 Jr. Miles Franklin added 10 points.  6-4 Sr. Will McMillan recorded nine points and 14 rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Ethan Hodge chipped in with nine points.

Butler vs. Ballard @ Ballard

 

Ballard fell behind 17-10 after the first quarter but outscored Butler 30-16 in the second quarter on their way to an 87-68 victory.  Ballard shot 46.5% from the field including nine of 23 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 12 of 17 free throws and pulled down 35 rebounds.  Butler shot 49.1% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Bears connected on eight of 13 free throws and pulled down 29 rebounds.

 

6-10 Jr. Maker Bar led Ballard with 24 points including six of eight free throws and 12 rebounds.  6-5 So. Gabe Sisk added 23 points including six three point baskets and seven rebounds.  6-1 Jr.Ja’Monti Wright recorded 16 points and six rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Keno Hayden chipped in with 13 points. 

 

5-11 Jr. Julian Beard led Butler with 18 points.  6-2 Sr. Cam Henderson added 11 points including three three point baskets.  6-0 Sr. Mershon Dickerson recorded 10 points and five rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Jacob Douglas chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.

Fern Creek raced out to a 25-15 first quarter lead on their way to a 69-51 victory over Pleasure Ridge Park.  Fern Creek shot 46.3% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  They connected on 16 of 23 free throws and pulled down 33 rebounds.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 38.5% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on seven of nine free throws and pulled down 25 rebounds.

 

6-0 Jr. Darian Lewis led Fern Creek with 19 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, and pulled down four rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Caden Bradford added 10 points and six rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Andre Crawford recorded 10 points.  6-6 Sr. Darrius Washington and 6-0 Sr. Jaden Rogers each recorded eight points. 

 

5-8 So. Zamareon McCown led Pleasure Ridge Park with 14 points including four of four free throws.  6-1 So. Malachi Hamilton added 13 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  6-1 Jr. Lavonte Harris recorded eight points including two three point baskets.

St. Xavier vs. DeSales

 

DeSales defeated St. Xavier by the score of 70-65.  DeSales shot 55.3% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 12 of 15 free throws, and pulled down 29 rebounds.  St. Xavier shot 43.1% from the field including 13 of 31 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on two of four free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds.

 

6-10 Sr. Sekou Kalle led DeSales with 23 points and 15 rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Luke Thompson added 15 points including two three point baskets.  6-3 So. Keith Robinson recorded 14 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Devin Perry chipped in with 10 points.

Ballard defeated Fern Creek by the score of 62-54.  Ballard shot 44% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 14 of 19 free throws and pulled down 30 rebounds.  Fern Creek shot 41.2% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on eight of 13 free throws and pulled down 28 rebounds.

 

6-10 Jr. Maker Bar led Ballard with 21 points including six of eight free throws and pulled down 12 rebounds.  6-5 So. Gabe Sisk added 16 points including four of five free throws and seven rebounds.  6-1 Jr. DJ Tilford recorded eight points including two three point baskets.

 

6-0 Jr. Darian Lewis led Fern Creek with 15 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Andre Crawford added 12 points and six rebounds.  6-6 Sr. CeArius Warren recorded 10 points and five rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Jaden Rogers chipped in with eight points including four of six free throws.

DeSales vs. Ballard

 

Ballard missed a shot in the closing seconds and DeSales held on for a 74-73 overtime victory over Ballard to avenge an earlier loss to Ballard.  DeSales shot 50% from the field including 10 of 24 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 10 of 24 free throws and pulled down 33 rebounds.  Ballard shot 42.2% from the field including eight of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Bruins connected on 11 of 13 free throws, and pulled down 33 rebounds.

 

6-10 Sr. Sekou Kalle led DeSales with 24 points, 20 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  5-8 Sr. Devin Perry added 24 points including four three point baskets.  6-1 Sr. Luke Thompson recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.

 

6-10 Jr. Maker Bar led Ballard with 19 points including four of four free throws, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  6-3 Jr. Keno Hayden added 17 points including two three point baskets.  6-5 So. Gabe Sisk recorded 15 points and eight rebounds.  6-1 Jr. Ja’Monti Wright chipped in with 12 points.
