The Middle School/Jr. High “High
Potential/Blue-Chip” Showcase Camp was held in
The camp director for this camp was Rick Bolus with 48 years of experience in the basketball business. Rick Bolus started the Rick Bolus High Potential® Basketball Recruiting Service in 1973. Mr. Bolus’ info reaches the desk of numerous college coaches nationwide, but also several all-star game directors. He has also coached girls’ basketball, conducted girls’ camps, and ran women’s coaching clinics over the years.
This is the perfect place for young players to improve their games against other top young players. Each middle school camper is included in the Camp Internet Report that is available to every basketball playing college in the nation (over 2,000). A camp report is also sent to numerous colleges representing all levels of collegiate play. All 6th through 9th graders for the 2021-22 school years are eligible to attend. The level of competition is high, so it is perfect for talented young prospects with potential. The players will play three games, participate in team practices, drills, and contests. Several former campers who later went on to become either All-Staters or All Americans got heir start at the Middle School “High Potential/Blue-Chip” Showcase Camp such as former NBA players Allonzo Trier and Keita Bates-Diop. The camp director is at camp the entire day observing each player’s performance. A certified trainer is at camp around the clock.
There were 45 players in this
camp from
The Rick Bolus High Potential® “Blue-Chip” Basketball Camp® is not affiliated with any other basketball camp using the names “High Potential;” or “Blue-Chip.”
