Dunkin' Donuts National Shootout LexCath January 10th

Lexington Catholic High School January 10th

Lexington Catholic 72  St. Joseph Central WV 65-  Lexington Catholic held a 57-37 lead in the third quarter and held on down the stretch to earn the victory. 5-9 Sr. Maggie Wilson led the victors with 20 points.  5-8 Sr. Danielle Corbett added 17 points including four three point baskets.  5-9 Sr. Sheneque McGhee chipped in with five points and 14 rebounds.  5-6 8th grader Oney Harrison and 5-11 Fr. Alex Botkin were very productive off the bench with nine and six points respectively.  Botkin also pulled down seven rebounds.  6-0 So. Sara Sang led St. Joseph's with 19 points and 15 rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Jill Pulley added 17 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and five steals.  5-3 Jr. Dusti Chapman chipped in with 12 points an four three point baskets.  5-8 Jr. Brittany Moore recorded nine points and seven rebounds.

Corbin 61 Lexington Christian Academy 49 - Corbin rallied from a 30-16 deficit early in the third quarter to defeat LCA 61-49.  Corbin outscored LCA 25-5 in the third quarter to take control of the game.  6-5  Sr. Josh Crawford led Corbin with 27 points and 12 rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Josh Smith added 14 points and seven rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Madison Johnson added 10 points.  6-6 Jr. Will Evans led LCA with 16 points and seven rebounds.  6-5 Sr. Grant Sparks added 11 points.

Pleasure Ridge Park 65 George Washington WV 55 - 6-6 Sr. Brandon Schoenhoff led PRP with 23 points and 10 rebounds.  5-10 Sr. Nathan Johnson added 10 points.  6-3 Jr.  Patrick Yochum and 6-3 Jr. Jermaine Lockhart chipped in with nine points each. 6-2 Sr. Chase Smith led George Washington with 22 points.  6-1 Sr. Matt Johnson added 11 points.

Beech TN 77 Lexington Catholic 68 OT - Beech led LexCath 57-43 in the final quarter but the Knights rallied to force overtime.  Beech outscored LexCath 17-8 in overtime with 6-3 Sr. Tyler Brown scoring 11 points.  Brown led Beech with 23 points and eight rebounds.  6-5 Jr. John Taylor added 14 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  5-10 Sr. Steven Dorse chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets.  6-0 Fr. Jaylen Beckham led LexCath with 21 points and five assists.  6-3 So. Taylor Martin added 17 points and six rebounds.  6-3 So. Scott Schuette chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets.  6-3 Sr. Taylor Botkin recorded 12 points including three three point baskets and added nine steals.(Note: 6-3 Sr. Vee Sanford was  unable to play today for LexCath due to an injury).

Campbell Memorial OH 75 God's Academy TX 73 - 6-2 Jr. Nate Hodge came off the bench to lead the victors with 27 points including 11 of 14 from the three point line and six rebounds. 6-1 So. Lester Hughes added 12 points and seven rebounds.  5-10 Sr. Doriann Jones chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Germaine Somrajit and 5-7 Jr. Jerah'me Williams recorded  11 and 10 points respectively with each connecting on three three point baskets. 6-8 Jr. Titus Rubbles and 6-8 Sr. Richard Armardi each recorded 18 points for God's Academy and Rubbles pulled down 11 rebounds.  6-1 Jr. K.C. Ross-Miller added 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
