Georgetown KY January 22nd Day 3
(Girls) - Scott County defeated Boyd County by a score of 86-51. 5-9 So. Kristen Stainback led the victors with 21 points and six rebounds. 5-11 Jr. Madisen Webb added 18 points, six rebounds, and nine assists. 5-9 So. Alex McKenzie added 17 points and 12 rebounds. 5-10 7th grader Tereka Guyn chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds. 5-6 Fr. Courtney Moore led Boyd County with nine points. 5-7 So. Kelley Pope, 5-6 Sr. Catie Wamsley, and 5-7 Jr. Holly Jude added eight points respectively.
(Boys Consolation) - Covington Catholic defeated Montgomery County 74-37. 6-3 Sr. Luke Maile and 5-11 Sr. Alex Ives led the victors with 17 points each with Ives recording five three point baskets. 6-4 Sr. Zach Isler added 12 points. 5-10 Sr. Cody Curtis, 6-4 Jr. Logan Manship, and 6-4 Sr. Derrick Robinson led Montgomery County with seven, six, and six points respectively.
(Boys Tournament Round) - Nick Fudge hit two free throws with 19 seconds left in overtime to give Adair County a 67-66 victory over Louisville Central. 6-7 Sr. Darren Ballou led the victors with 24 points and 11 rebounds. 6-3 Jr. Kyle Sandusky added 19 points. 5-9 Sr. Nick Fudge chipped in with 13 points and six assists. 5-9 Sr. Corey Helm recorded 10 points. 6-4 Sr. Ridge Wilson led Central with 17 points and 10 rebounds. 6-1 So. Isaiah Jones added 14 points. 5-9 Sr. Alex Morrison and 5-10 Sr. Dawan Robinson chipped in with 13 points each.
(Boys Tournament Round) - Scott County defeated Bourbon County by a score of 92-43. 6-8 Sr. Richie Phares led the victors with 23 points and nine rebounds. 6-2 Jr. Ge-Lawn Guyn added 18 points. 6-4 Jr. Chad Jackson chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds. 6-8 Jr. Dakotah Euton recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds. 6-0 So. Tyler Clark led Bourbon County with 16 points including four three point baskets. 6-0 Sr. Maurice Hogue added 12 points. Scott County scored 32 points off 23 Bourbon County turnovers.
