Model (3-17)  vs.  Madison Southern  (1-21)  (Girls)  -  Madison Southern defeated Model by a score of 51-45.  Madison Southern shot 30.4% from the field including  two of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Model turnovers.  Model shot 22.3% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Patriots connected on 14 of 29 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 21 Madison Southern turnovers.

5-4 Sr. Liz Hogwood led the victors with 18 points and six assists.  5-9 Sr. Brittany Calhoun added 15 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  5-7 So. Mary Mullins chipped in with seven points and 11 rebounds.

5-6 Jr. Shelby McNeely led Model with 20 points and six rebounds.  5-5 Jr. Shelby Schneid added 14 points, six rebounds, and six steals.  5-7 Sr. Beth Williams and 5-8 Fr. Tara Hill pulled down 12 and 10 rebounds respectively.

Model  (6-19)  vs.  Madison Southern  ( 12-12)  (Boys)  -  Madison Southern outscored Model 22-4 in the second period on their way to a 73-39 victory.. The victors shot 46% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 21 of 35 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Model turnovers.  Model shot 26.9% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Madison Southern turnovers.

5-9 Jr. Carrington Roberts led madison Southern with 27 points including three three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.  Roberts was seven of 13 from the field including three of three from the three point line and 10 of 11 from the free throw line.  6-4 Jr. Joey Wallace added 14 points and seven rebounds.  6-0 So. Aaron Ponder chipped in with nine points, 10 rebounds, and five steals.

6-0 Jr. Gabe Cormney led Model with 15 points.  5-11 Sr. Michael Daniel added nine points.
