(Girls) Eastern  (10-13)  vs.  Sacred Heart Academy  (23-4) -  Sacred Heart defeated Eastern by a score of 61-40.  sacred Heart shot 44.9% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 20 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 32% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

5-6 Jr. Autumn Miller led Sacred Heart with 17 points including two three point baskets.  5-11 Jr. Jackie Hafele added 12 points and six rebounds.  5-11 So. Morgan Clemons chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds.

5-8 Sr. Alexis Biddix led Eastern with eight points.  Chalyse Taylor and Danee Trowell added seven points each.

Mercy Academy  (19-6)  vs.  Assumption  (14-12)  -   Assumption led 48-32 in the third quarter and held on down the stretch to defeat Mercy by a score of 68-61.  Assumption shot 44.4% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Rockets connected on 21 of 35 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Mercy turnovers.  Mercy shot 34.6% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 22 Assumption turnovers.

6-0 Jr. Molly Ernst led the victors with 24 points including four three point baskets.  5-7 Jr. Paige Mullen added 11 points.  5-10 Sr. Amy Brutscher chipped in with eight points and 11 rebounds.  5-5 Jr. Clare Delahanty recorded five points and 13 rebounds.

5-9 Jr. Therese Montano led Mercy with 18 points.  5-8 Jr. Malisa Cruz and 5-8 So. Juliann Miller added 11 points each. 5-8 Jr. Ellen Sholtes chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

Fern Creek  (17-14)  vs.  Christian Academy of Louisville  (22-4)  -  CAL scored 25 points off 17 Fern Creek turnovers in a 57-40 victory.  CAL raced out to a 40-12 lead at halftime and was never challenged.

CAL shot 40.4% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 11 of 18 free throws and pulled down 41 rebounds.  Fern Creek shot 24.2% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored four points off 14 CAL turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Clair Buchanan led CAL with 20 points including four three point baskets.  6-2 Jr. Antonita Slaughter added 16 points and seven rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Anna Hart recorded two points and 12 rebounds.

5-4 So. Asia Grigsby led Fern Creek with 16 points.  6-4 So. Teonia McCune added 11 points, 20 rebounds, and seven blocked shots.

Ballard  (10-18)  vs.  duPont Manual  (23-6)  -  Manual outscored Ballard 40-21 in the second half in a 74-47 victory.  Manual dominated inside holding a 49-29 advantage in rebounds and a 23-14 advantage in second chance points.

Manual shot 49.2% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 10 of 19 free throws and scored 20 points off 21 Ballard turnovers.  Ballard shot 32.7% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bruins connected on 13 of 25 free throws and scored 13 points off 19 Manual turnovers.

5-10 Fr. Kara Wright led Manual with 18 points and six rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Avery Jones added 15 points and 12 rebounds.  5-10 So. Mechael Guess chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds.

5-7 Jr. Nicole Heitz led Ballard with 15 points and 10 rebounds.  5-7 Jr. Larissa Stafford added 14 points.
