Louisville KY March 3rd (Girls)

Pleasure Ridge Park  (9-19)  vs.  Bullitt East  (22-8)  -  Bullitt East scored 30 points off 29 Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers in a 49-33 victory.  Bullitt East shot 37.5% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on 16 of 23 free throws and pulled down 22 rebounds.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 43.5% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Bullitt East turnovers.

5-9 Jr. Kayla Thacker and Jade Troutman led Bullitt East with 10 points each.  5-10 Jr. Shelby Romine added nine points.

5-8 Sr. JoJo Lavender led PRP with eight points and eight rebounds.  5-8 8th grader Kelsey Adwell and 5-4 So. Emily Hibbs added eight and seven points respectively.

Central  (14-12)  vs.  Iroquois  (26-1)  -  Iroquois outscored Central 20-1 in the second quarter on their way to a 74-44 victory.  Iroquois shot 46.4% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Raiders connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, scored 27 points off 25 Central turnovers, and held a 39-12 advantage in bench scoring. Central shot 26.3% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on 20 of 31 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Iroquois turnovers.

5-5 Sr. Asia Mathies led Iroquois with 21 points.  5-9 Sr. Adia Mathies added 13 points and 11 rebounds.  5-5 Sr. Stafonia Taylor chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Victoria Brown recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds.

5-6 So. Brianna Averette led Central with nine points and eight rebounds.  5-0 Jr. Shaneal Brents also recorded nine points.  5-5 Jr. Krystl Coleman added eight points.  5-2 Sr. Simone Lemaster chipped in with seven points.

Fairdale  (11-17)  vs.  Presentation Academy  (16-12)  -  Fairdale pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Presentation by a score of 53-43.  Fairdale shot 38.1% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 19 of 27 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored five points off 11 Presentation turnovers.  Presentation shot 23.2% from the field including only two of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Toppers connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored  10 points off 17 Fairdale turnovers.

5-5 Jr. We'Nisha Mack led Fairdale with  22 points.  5-7 Sr. Kayla Thompson added 15 points and nine rebounds.  5-10 Sr. Jyreyanna Warfield chipped in with five points and 10 rebounds.

5-10 Sr. Kristyn Craven led Presentation with 15 points and 11 rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Susan Stein added 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Butler  (17-6)  vs.  Holy Cross (19-12)  -  Butler raced out to a 39-20 halftime  lead on their way to a 69-57 victory.  Butler shot 43.9% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 24 Holy Cross turnovers.  Holy Cross shot 48.9% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cougars connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Butler turnovers.

5-11 Sr. Tiara Hopper led Butler with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  5-7 So. Megan Cureton and 5-7 Jr. Whitney Reed added 12 and 10 points respectively. 

5-7 Jr. Robin Deckard led Holy Cross with 27 points and five rebounds.  6-1 Jr. Olivia Moore added 16 points and eight rebounds.
