Richmond KY March 4th (Boys) 

Madison Southern  (13-13)  vs.  Scott County  (26-3)  -  Scott County held a 20-4 advantage in second chance points in a 77-47 victory over Madison Southern.  Scott County shot 52.9% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on three of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 25 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 48% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

6-8 Sr. Richie Phares and 6-4 Jr. Chad Jackson led Scott County with 16 points each.  6-2 Jr. Ge-Lawn Guyn added 13 points.  6-8 Jr. Dakotah Euton chipped in with six points and nine rebounds.

6-4 Jr. Joey Wallace led Madison Southern with 17 points and nine rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Carrington Roberts added 13 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Lafayette (10-18)  vs.  Franklin County  (21-4)  -  Lafayette pulled off the upset tonight by defeating Franklin County 60-58.  Lafayette shot 52.4% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 11 of 23 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 41.2% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

5-11 Jr. Mike Walker led lafayette with 24 points including three three point baskets.  Walker also pulled down seven rebounds.  6-1 So. Dee Yarbrough added 12 points.  6-4 So. Tanner Napier chipped in with 10 points.

6-3 Jr. Vance Hall led Franklin County with 20 points.  6-3 Sr.  Barrett Meyer added 12 points including three three point baskets.  6-8 Sr. Andy Donovan chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.
