Richmond KY March 7th

Lexington Christian Academy  (28-4)  vs Scott County  (17-14) (Championship)  -  LCA pulled away in the second half to defeat Scott County 81-59.  The game was close in the first half with Scott County leading 29-24 before LCA rallied to lead 41 -33 at halftime.

LCA shot 43.5% from the field including nine of 26 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 19 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 32.8% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 13 points off  14 LCA turnovers.

5-11 Sr. Courtney Clifton led LCA with 38 points including six three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Anna Martin added 25 points, eight rebounds, and seven steals.  6-2 Jr. Sarah Beth Barnette recorded eight points and 12 rebounds.

5-9 So. Kristen Stainback led Scott County with 24 points.  5-11 Jr. Madisen Webb added 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.  5-9 So. Alex McKenzie chipped in with six points and 12 rebounds.
