Christian Academy of Louisville (24-4) Vs. Sacred Heart Academy (25-4) (Championship) - Sacred Heart led 39-37 after three quarters but CAL rallied in the final period to win by a score of 59-49. CAL held a 21-11 advantage in free throw points and an 11-2 advantage in second chance points.
CAL shot 46.3% from the field including zero of five from the three point line. The Lady Centurions connected on 21 of 28 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Sacred Heart turnovers. Sacred Heart shot 39.1% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc. The Valkyries connected on 11 of 23 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 CAL turnovers.
6-2 Jr. Antonita Slaughter led CAL with 34 points including 14 of 16 from the free throw line and pulled down 13 rebounds. 5-10 Sr. Clair Buchanan added 14 points and eight rebounds.
5-6 Jr. Autumn Miller led Sacred Heart with 18 points and eight rebounds. 5-11 Jr. Jackie Hafele added 12 points and six rebounds. 5-4 So. Maddie Peabody chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.
