Tates Creek raced out to a 26-7 lead in the third quarter and held on for a 33-27 victory tonight.  Woodford County was plagued by turnovers as the had three passes intercepted and lost a fumble.

Tates Creek recorded 14 first downs and 253 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 12 times for 91 yards.  Woodford County recorded 16 first downs and 260 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized seven times for 51 yards, lost a fumble and had three passes intercepted.

Jontez Jones led the Tates Creek ground game with 89 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball 16 times for 87 yards.  Tyler Love recorded 45 yards and a TD on nine carries.  Dee Christopher completed nine of 12 passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Will Sweet caught three passes for 19 yards.  Jon. Meadors led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Jacob Kadel added four solo and one assisted tackle.  Aarom Mullins recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulted in losses totalling 17 yards.  Mullins also recovered a fumble.  Brandon Shrout, Jon. Diliberto, and Damon Boggs each intercepted a pass.

Kristian Larsen led Woodford County's ground game with 78 yards and a TD on 12 carries.  Matt Couch completed 14 of 30 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions.  Nick Walling caught four passes for 41 yards.  Wayne White led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles.  Michael Rusher added five solo and one assisted tackle.  Ian Smarr recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 21 yards.
