Scott County went on an 84 yard scoring drive that took almost 10 minutes and culminated in a 10 yard scoring strike from Tevin Buffin to James Happy to give the Cardinals a 16-13 come-from-behind victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay started their own drive from their 27 yard line with 3:53 remaining on the clock.  The Blue Devils moved to the Scott County 31 before turning the ball over on downs.  Scott County lost their starting FB Brooks Barber to an injury early in the game.

Scott County recorded 16 first downs and 230 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized twice for 26 yards, and had one pass intercepted.  Henry Clay recorded 10 first downs and 270 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 46 yards.

Marcus Hill led Scott County's ground game with 67 yards on 17 carries.  Tevin Buffin completed eight of 12 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown with an interception.  James Happy caught four passes for 44 yards and a TD.  Chris Ramsey led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles.  Avery Ford and Jordan Kindred each recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.

Bo Brooks led Henry Clay's ground attack with 117 yards and a TD on nine carries.  Jerry Williams carried the ball nine times for 36 yards.  Williams completed 10 of 14 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.  Blake Green caught four passes for 30 yards.  Branden Johnso added three receptions for 54 yards and a TD.  Ryan McCray led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Charles McCarty added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Tyr. Johnson recorded five solo and one assisted tackle.  James Hendron chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 23 yards.
