KBA Preseason Showcase (Rupp Arena) November 27th

Clays Mill Christian  58  Trinity Christian  53 - 6-3 Sr. Jeremy Fugate and 5-11 Sr. Nathan Schwarz led the victors with 30 and 21 points respectively.  Fugate recorded four three point baskets.  6-2 Sr. Ryan Jennings, 6-2 So. Mac Holt, and 6-2 Jr. Wes Westberry led Trinity Christian with 17, 13, and 12 points respectively.

Bracken County  60  Bluegrass United  48 - 6-3 Sr. Dylan Hamilton, 6-3 Sr. Devon Workman, and 6-2 Sr. Caleb Craft led Bracken County with 18, 13, and 12 points respectively.  6-4 Jr. Josh Karsner, 6-1 Jr. Caleb Blankenship, and 6-0 Sr. Andrew Underwood led Bluegrass United with 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.

Buckhorn  71  Carroll County  61 - 6-6 So. Matt Day, 6-2 Sr. Eric Stidham, and 6-3 Sr. Dustin Colwell led the victors with 20, 20, and 17 points respectively.  6-1 Sr. Andy Sisenstein, 6-1 Sr. D.C. Craig, and 6-1 Sr. Will Yager led Carroll County with 12, 12, and 11 points respectively.  Yager recorded three three point baskets.

Pendleton County  66  Barbourville  49 - 5-8 Sr. Tim Cooper, Sr. Garrett Ferrell, and 5-8 Fr. Mason Monroe led the victors with 14, 13, and 11 points respectively.  6-2 So. Josh Hildebrand and Jr. Micah Corey led Barbourville with 11 points each.

Marion County  44  Lincoln County  44 (Girls) - Shelby Smith hit a three pointer at the buzzer to give Lincoln County the tie.  Marion County was plagued with foul problems today as Jasmine Franklin, Bre Elder, and Kyvin Goodin- Rogers all fouled out of the game.  Bre Elder and Makayla Epps led Marion County with 18 and 12 points respectively.  5-9 Sr. Jessica Upchurch and 5-6 Fr. Emily Fox led Lincoln County with 16 and 11 points respectively.

Anderson County 34  Whitley County  26 (Girls)  8th Grade Middle School Championship - Anderson County outscored Whitley County 15-7 in the final quarter to claim the title.  Eriel McKee and Destiny Stewart led the victors with 13 and 10 points respectively.  Hallie Jones and Brandy Smith led Whitley County with 10 and eight points respectively.

Whitley County  70  East Jessamine  45 - 6-5 Jr. Shawn Harris, 6-5 Sr. Michael Crawford, and 6-1 Sr. Jamie Lebanion led Whitley County with 15, 13, and 10 points respectively.  DiJon Bondurant led East Jessamine with 17 points including three three point baskets.

Lexington Christian Academy  58  South Laurel  58 - 5-11 So. Taylor Barnette, 6-7 Sr. Will Evans,  and 6-1 Sr. Evan Stephens led LCA with 17, 13, and 11 points respectively.  6-9 Sr. Matt St. John and 6-1 Tyler Huff led South Laurel with 25 and 11 points respectively.

LaRue County  47  Southwestern  44 - 5-9 So. Kyle Sheeran, 6-2 Sr. Tyler Nall, and 5-7 So. Anthony Myrks-Brewer led LaRue County with 12, nine, and eight points respectively.  6-3 So. Robbie Lewis and Sr. Aaron Brown led Southwestern with eight and seven points respectively.

Henderson County  74  Oldham County  50 - 5-6 Sr. D.J. Holmes, Jr. Josh Thomas, and 6-1 Jr. Cole Childress led a balanced Henderson County attack with 11, 11, and 10 points respectively.  Holmes recorded three three point baskets.  6-4 Jr. Nolan Denise, Jr. Dylan Simms, 6-2 So. Kerry Smith, and 6-7 Sr. Matt Masters led Oldham County with nine, eight, eight, and seven points respectively.

McCreary Central  54  Clay County  48 - 6-4 Jr. Jacob Dixon led the victors with 16 points including four three point baskets.  6-2 Sr. Aaron Watts and 6-4 Sr. Sean Privett added 12 and 10 points respectively.  Jr. Allen Whitaker came off the bench to lead Clay County with 13 points including three three point baskets.  6-3 Sr. D.J. Wilson and 6-1 Sr. Kendale Reed added 11 and 10 points respectively.
