Touchstone Energy All "A" Classic 2010 (Boys) Quarterfinals

The final four games on January 29th were boy’ quarterfinals.

Glasgow  58  Walton-Verona  44 – The score was tied 37-37 at the end of three quarters but Glasgow outscored Walton-Verona 21-7 in the final quarter to earn the victory.  6-1 Sr. Cameron Hall led Glasgow with 21 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.  5-10 Sr. Dean Glass added 15 points.  5-11 Sr. Brandon Bowlin led Walton-Verona with 13 points including four three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Jordan Ponzer and 6-8 Sr. Camron Burns added 12 and 10 points respectively.

DeSales  56  Hazard  52  (OT) – 6-4 Sr. Brandon Ritchie led DeSales with 15 points and eight rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Corum Sanford added 14 points and seven rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Josh Whitaker led Hazard with 13 points and five rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Eric Back added 11 points including three three point baskets.  6-2 So. B.J. Combs chipped in with 10 points.

University Heights  55  Owensboro Catholic  50  -  University Heights trailed 34-32 entering the final quarter but rallied for a 55-50 victory over Owensboro Catholic.  6-0 Jr. Matt mcGowan and 6-3 Jr. Ryan Hudson led the victors with 16 and 14 points respectively.  6-5 Jr. Tiberius Smith recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Neil Lanham led Owensboro Catholic with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Shelby Valley  80  Danville  56 – 5-10 Sr. Elisha Justice led the victors with 19 points.  6-4 Sr. Tyler Newsome added 16 points and five assists.  6-6 Sr. Ashley Hatfield recorded 15 points including three three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Taylor Newsome chipped in with 15 points and six rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Jacody Taylor led Danville with 21 points including four three point baskets.  5-11 Sr. Duran Elmore added 14 points.
