Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Austin Flannery, 6-3 So. Tamron Manning, 6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton, 6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson. Clark County coach Scott Humphrey countered with 6-8 Jr. Vinny Zollo, 6-6 Jr. Jaylen Daniel, 6-5 Jr. Corey Rogers, 6-0 Sr. Chase Kindred, and 6-4 Jr. Robbie Stenzel.
Scott County trailed 49-48 entering the final period but rallied for a 67-64 victory over Clark County. Clark County had their opportunities down the stretch but some costly turnovers were crucial at the end. Scott County scored 23 points off 18 Clark County turnovers but Clark County held a 20-12 advantage in free throw points.
Scott County shot 42.6% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line. The Cardinals were 12 of 18 from the free throw line and pulled down 38 rebounds. Clark County shot 35.1% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.
