Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Domonique Hagans, 6-4 Jr. Tanner Napier, 6-7 8th grader Jackson Davis, 6-1 Jr. D’Angelo Yarbrough, and 6-1 Sr. Michael Walker. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston countered with 6-7 Sr. Will Evans, 6-3 Sr. Evan Stephens, 6-4 Sr. Charlie Gullett, 5-7 Sr. Will Kindred, and 6-0 So. Taylor Barnette.
Lexington Christian Academy outscored Lafayette 30-12 in the third quarter in a 74-50 victory. Lexington Christian Academy shot 58.8% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on seven opf 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 39.6% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 LCA turnovers.
Will Evans led Lexington Christian Academy with 31 points and 11 rebounds. Taylor Barnette added 20 points including five three point baskets, pulled down six rebounds, and dished out six assists. Evan Stephens chipped in with 11 points.
D’Angelo Yarbrough led Lafayette with 12 points. Domonique Hagans, Michael Walker, and 5-11 Sr. John Burton added 10, eight, and eight points respectively.
