George Washington coach Rick Greene started the following lineup: 6-7 Jr. Tyquane Goard, 6-2 Jr. Nick Britton, 6-5 Sr. Will Lorensen, 5-11 Jr. Shawny Badger, and 5-8 Jr. DeQuon Miller.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson, 6-3 Sr. Austin Flannery, 6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton, 6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-3 So. Tamron Manning.

Scott County raced out to a 51-20 halftime lead on their way to a 77-58 victory over a very good George Washington team.  Scott County was on fire in the first half as they shot 66.7% from the field including six of eight from the three point line before intermission.

Scott County shot 51.7% from the field including eight of 13 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 19 George Washington turnovers.  George Washington shot 43.1% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 23 Scott County turnovers.

Chad Jackson led Scott County with 20 points and seven rebounds.  Austin Flannery added 18 points including four three point baskets.  Dakotah Euton recorded 15 points including three three point baskets and pulled down nine rebounds.  Ge-Lawn Guyn also reached double figures with 10 points.

Tyquane Goard led George Washington with 13 points and six rebounds.  Shawny Badger, DeQuon Miller, and Santino DiTrapano each recorded nine points.
