Lexington Catholic coach Tony Talbott started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Alex Botkin, 5-9 Fr. Octavia Wilson, 5-11 So. Liz Walton, 5-5 Sr. Meghan Cawood, and 5-6 Sr. Anna Gayle Scott.  Sayre coach Scott Sutton countered with 6-0 So. Maddie Mitchell, Jr. Bea Cameron, 6-1 7^th grader Gabby Bowie, 5-7 Sr. Anne MacNeil, and 5-7 Sr. Chanel Minnifield.

Lexington Catholic defeated Sayre by a score of 64-57.  Sayre led 20-11 after the first quarter but Lexington Catholic rallied in the second quarter to take a 29-28 halftime lead.  The Lady Knights held on in the second half to earn the victory.

Lexington Catholic shot 33.9% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 22 of 34 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 24 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 47.6% from the field including zero of three from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Alex Botkin led Lexington Catholic with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Octavia Wilson added 12 points including eight of eight from the free throw line.  Wilson also recorded six steals.  Liz Walton also scored 12 points.

Chanel Minnifield led Sayre with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Maddie Mitchell also recorded 12 points.  Gabby Bowie added 11 points, 13 rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Bea Cameron chipped in with 10 points and four steals.
