Lafayette (11-15) vs. Lexington Christian Academy (19-6) (Girls)
Lexington Christian Academy rallied from a 25-14 deficit in the second quarter to defeat Lafayette 57-50. LCA outscored Lafayette 11-0 to close out the second quarter with a 25-25 tie.
LCA shot 52.4% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 36.8% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals did not attempt a single free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 15 LCA turnovers.
6-2 Sr. Sarah Beth Barnette led LCA with 23 points and nine rebounds. 5-11 Jr. Kelli Rinehart added 14 points and seven rebounds. 5-5 Jr. Rachel Cox chipped in with nine points.
5-8 Sr. Lisa Hack led Lafayette with 18 points including four three point baskets and pulled down nine rebounds. 6-0 Sr. Morgan Walker added eight points and nine rebounds. 5-7 Sr. Ali Ross and 5-9 Jr. MacKenzie Graham chipped in with eight points each.

Lexington Catholic (20-4) vs. Lafayette (19-5) (Boys)
Lafayette outscored Lexington Catholic 21-14 in the final quarter to earn a 62-56 victory. The game was close the entire way with Lafayette pulling away in the closing minutes of the game. Both teams were plagued with fouls tonight with Lexington Catholic’s Jaylen Beckham, Taylor Martin, and Tanner Peurach finishing the game with four fouls and Lafayette’s D’Angelo Yarbrough fouled out and John Burton finished the game with four fouls.
Lafayette shot 43.4% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 26 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 40.9% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 19 Lafayette turnovers.
6-2 Sr. Domonique Hagans led Lafayette with 23 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots and was virtually unstoppable in the paint. 6-1 Jr. D’Angelo Yarbrough added 12 points including two three point baskets. 6-1 Sr. Michael Walker recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. 5-11 Sr. John Burton chipped in with nine points.
6-1 So. Jaylen Beckham led Lexington Catholic with 23 points. 6-0 Jr. Seth Beckham added 11 points and five rebounds. 6-3 Jr. Scott Schuette chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.
