2010 11th Region Tournament (Boys)

Madison Southern  (21-9)  vs.  Scott County  (24-6)  (Boys)

Scott County scored 34 points off 27 Madison Southern turnovers in a 72-38 victory.  Scott County shot 44.6% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and held a 26-10 advantage in bench scoring.  Madison Southern shot 36.8% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on seven of seven free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Scott County turnovers.

6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson led Scott County with 13 points and eight rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn also scored 13 points.  6-5 Sr. Will Schu and 6-3 Sr. Austin Flannery  added eight points each.

5-9 Sr. Carrington Roberts led Madison Southern with 10 points and seven rebounds.  6-5 Sr. Joey Wallace also recorded 10 points.

Woodford County  (12-15)  vs.  Tates Creek  (20-6)  (Boys)

Tates Creek defeated Woodford County by a score of 41-29.  Tates Creek shot 40% from the field including zero of four from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 20 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 26.7% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Yellowjackets connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.

6-3 Jr. Marcellus Barksdale led Tates Creek with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and five steals.  6-2 Jr. Ryan Fucci added 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.

5-11 Sr. Patrick White led Woodford County with eight points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Sr. Dominique Johnson and 6-2 So. David Greenwell added seven and six points respectively.  6-6 So. Jay Johnson pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.
