East Carter  (23-6)  vs.  Warren Central  (22-8)

Warren Central outscored East Carter 22-2 in the third quarter on their way to a 55-36 victory.  East Carter took a 13-4 lead in the first quarter but Warren Central rallied to only trail by one point; 21-20 at halftime.  Warren Central held East Carter to 18.5% from the field in the second half and outscored the Raiders 35-15.

Warren Central shot 55.6% from the field including four of seven from the three point line.  The Dragons connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 16 East Carter turnovers.  East Carter shot 33.3% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Raiders connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off 15 Warren Central turnovers.

6-0 Jr. Jordan Shanklin led Warren Central with 16 points including two three point baskets.  6-3 Sr. Shamarcus Wells and 6-1 Sr. Troy Halcomb added 11 and nine points respectively.

6-7 Sr. Colt Barnhill led East Carter with eight points and nine rebounds.  6-0 So. Dylan Genung added seven points.

Shelby County  (24-5)  vs.  Ballard  (29-4)

Ballard finally pulled away in the final two minutes to defeat Shelby County 90-80 in a thrilling “wild west shootout”.  Shelby County was forced to foul late in the game and lost three starters; Donovan Johnson, Cache Tomlinson, and Norris Beckley Jr. due to fouls.

Ballard shot 45.9% from the field including nine of 26 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 25 of 35 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 20 Shelby County turnovers.  Shelby County shot 43.5% from the field including 12 of 30 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Ballard turnovers.

6-3 Sr. Keisten Jones led Ballard with 30 points including five three point baskets and connected on nine of 10 free throws.  6-1 Sr. Ian Chiles added 19 points including two three point baskets.  6-3 Jr. Devante Parker chipped in with 13 points and nine rebounds.

6-3 Fr, Daryl Hicks led Shelby County with 30 points including six three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Cache Tomlinson added 20 points including five three point baskets.  5-7 Sr. Norris Beckley Jr. chipped in with 14 points.  6-6 Sr. Donovan Johnson recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Christian County  (29-4)  vs.  Newport  (29-5)

Christian County pulled away in the second half to defeat Newport by a score of 70-51.  Christian County shot 50.9% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Newport turnovers.  Newport shot 43.5% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Wildcats connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Christian County turnovers.

6-5 Jr. Donovan Kates led Christian County with 22 points including three three point baskets.  5-10 Jr. Anthony Hickey added 20 points and seven  rebounds.

6-3 Sr. Demarko Foster led Newport with 21 points including three three point baskets.  6-5 Sr. Casey McDaniel added 10 points and six rebounds.

Corbin  (27-3)  vs.  Scott County  (27-6)

Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Corbin by a score of 68-49.  Scott County shot 42.1% from the field including five of nine from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 21 Corbin turnovers.  Corbin shot 42.2% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc.  The Redhounds connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Scott County turnovers.

6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton led Scott County with 21 points and seven rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson added 13 points and seven rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn chipped in with 12 points.  6-4 Jr. Tanner Shotwell came off the bench to add eight points and five rebounds.

6-4 Sr. Madison Johnson led Corbin with 18 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.  5-10 Sr. Isaac Wilson added nine points and five assists.
