Girls Junior Varsity and Varsity Divisions

Sunday June 13th

 

Junior Varsity Division

Assumption 48  Clay County 31 (Quarterfinal) – Leah Oppel led Assumption with 15 points.  Allison Zickel and Annie Crotty added eight and seven points respectively.  Erica Allen led Clay County with 13 points.

Bryan Station 41  Harlan County 30 (Quarterfinal) – Victoria McCoy, Brittany Williams, and DeShante Clay led Bryan Station with nine, eight, and eight points respectively.  Melissa Stewart led Harlan County with seven points.

Madison Central 42  Sacred Heart 31 (Quarterfinal) – Ashley Hinkle, Lauren Skipworth, and Heather Hinkle led Madison Central with 11, nine, and eight points respectively.  Corrine Peabody led Sacred Heart with 13 points.

Somerset 56  Letcher County Central 49 (Quarterfinal) – Mariko Krause, Cassie Bray, and Jessica Wallace led Somerset with 18, 14, and 11 points respectively.  Kelah Eldridge led Letcher County Central with 18 points including four three  point baskets.  Keisha Collins and Julie Cornett added 11 and nine points respectively.

Bryan Station 49  Assumption 44 (Semifinal) – Labi Frazier and Lakeyshia Stennis led Bryan Station with 12 points each.  Allison Zickel, Leah Oppel, and Annie Crotty led Assumption with nine, eight, and seven points respectively.

Madison Central 38  Somerset 34 (Semifinal) – Ashley Hinkle led Madison Central with 17 points.  Marilko Krause led Somerset with 12 points including three three point baskets.

Madison Central 49  Bryan Station 42 (Championship) – Ashley Hinkle, Heather Hinkle, and Lauren Skipworth led Madsion Central with 14, 12, and 12 points respectively.  Lakeyshia Stennis, Labi Frazier, and Victoria McCoy led Bryan Station with 11, 10, and nine points respectively.

 

Varsity Division

Butler 59  Sacred Heart 54 (Quarterfinal) – Heather Wheat, Aareon Smith, and Megan Cureton led Butler with 13, 11, and 10 points respectively.  Maddie Peabody led Sacred Heart with 17 points.  Morgan Clemons added 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Madison Central 48  Casey County 46 (Quarterfinal) – Larryn Brooks and Jenna Cornelison led Madison Central with 11 and 10 points respectively.  Nicole Coffman and Megan Pittman led Casey County with 18 and 12 points respectively.

Marion County 60  Garrard County 15 (Quarterfinal) – Makayla Epps and Bre Elder led Marion County with 19 and 14 points respectively.  Devin Conley led Garrard County with seven points.

Bryan Station 43  Clay County 38 (Quarterfinal) – Serena Sandusky led Bryan Station with 22 points.  Whitney Belle Jackson led Clay County with 14 points.

Butler 52  Madison Central 43 (Semifinal) – Mackenzie Martinez and Megan Cureton led Butler with 14 and 11 points respectively.  Jenna Cornelison and Larryn Brooks led Madison Central with 13 and 11 points respectively.

Marion County 60  Bryan Station 44 (Semifinal) – Makayla Epps, Bre Elder, and Brooke Roberts led Marion County with 19, 17, and 11 points respectively.  Amber Crumbie led Bryan Station with 17 points.

Marion County 51  Butler 40 (Championship) – Makayla Epps led Marion County with 23 points.  Heather Wheat led Butler with 11 points.
