31st Annual Rick Bolus’ High Potential® “Blue-Chip” Basketball Camp® 2010

The first session of this camp held June 27th-July 1st Featured some excellent talent in both decisions.  One of the Junior Division teams that featured players from the state of Illinois was designated  #11 Team Wisconsin and rolled through the camp schedule with a perfect 8-0 record including the Junior Division tournament.  This team was “loaded” and added several individual honors as well as the camp Junior Division title.

Seven players made the Junior Division All- Star team including 5-8 8th grader 5-8 8th grader Davon Smith McKinley Junior High South Holland IL, 6-2 8th grader Lamont Walker Benjamin Mays Academy Chicago IL, 6-0 Fr. Erick Locke Evanston Twp Evanston IL, 6-1 Fr. Tevin King Emmett Chicago IL, 6-3 Fr. Victor Law St. Rita Chicago IL, 6-0 8th grader Eddie Miles Morgan Park Chicago IL, and 6-0 Fr. Torrence Johnson Morgan Park IL.

Erick Locke also captured the Junior Division Camp MVP and was Junior Division All-Star Game Runner-Up MVP.  Tevin King was named Junior Division All-Star Game MVP.  Lamont Walker was named Junior Division Tournament MVP.  Victor Law finished in a tie for the frontline three point shooting champ in the Junior Division.  5-7 8th grader Aaron Jones De La Salle Institute Chicago IL captured the Junior Division backcourt hot-shot competition.

This team, while extremely talented played well together as a team and it will be very interesting to follow them throughout their high school careers.

The Rick Bolus’ High Potential® Blue-Chip Basketball Camp® is not affiliated with any other basketball camp using the names of either High Potential or Blue-Chip.
