Friday September 3rd

Tates Creek 35  Bryan Station 21 – Early turnovers doomed Bryan Station as Tates Creek improves to 3-0.

Lafayette 27  Mercer County 13 – QB Matt Britt threw for touchdowns and Bubba Johnson ran for two touchdowns to lead Lafayette to their first victory of the season.

St. Xavier 37  Lexington Catholic 0 – St. Xavier cruised to a shutout victory over Lexington Catholic.

Newport Central Catholic 45  Madison Central 3 – Chris Kelly ran for four TDs to lead NCC to victory.

Boone County 17  Scott County 6 – Scott County’s inability to connect on three red-zone opportunities dropped them to 0-2 for the season.

Highlands 50  Beechwood 24 – QB Patrick Towles led the Bluebirds with 288 yards and five touchdown passes.

Simon Kenton 31  Dixie Heights 28 – QB Chad Lawrence threw for four TDs and Cody Herald won the game with a 19 yard field goal with seconds remaining in the game.

Paul Dunbar 38  Woodford County 22 – Paul Jones led Dunbar with 240 yards and a TD on 21 carries.

Henry Clay 35  Pulaski County 28 (OT) – Bo Brooks scored on a 7 yard run to give Henry Clay the victory in the second overtime.  Pulaski County had one final possession but could not move the ball.

Breathitt County 49  Prestonsburg 21 – The victorious Cats rolled up 583 yards of total offense.

Lexington Christian Academy 43  Lynn Camp 22 – Scout McCamy led LCA with 106 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Hazard 48  Letcher County Central 34 – Jon Combs threw for TD strikes of 57, 64, 32, 32, and 8 yards to lead Hazard.

Perry County Central 63  Knott County Central 8 – QB Kyle Huff threw TD passes of 41, 45, 11, 41, 25, and 34 yards to lead Perry County Central to victory.

Ballard 42  Central 14 – DeVante Parker caught seven passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns to lead Ballard to victory.

Trinity 42  Manual 14 – Soph QB Travis Wright completed 20 of 26 passes for 298 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Shamrocks.

Seneca 29  Fern Creek 26 – DaMarcus Smith threw for three TDs and ran for another score to lead Seneca to victory.

Jeffersontown 34  Waggener 14 – DeMichael Jackson ran for three touchdowns to lead the Chargers to victory.
