Simon Kenton defeated Henry Clay by a score of 21-18.  Simon Kenton recorded 19 first downs and 341 yards of total offense.  The Pioneers were penalized six times for 45 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Henry Clay recorded 14 first downs and 264 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 22 yards and lost two fumbles.

Chad Lawrence led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 154 yards on 25 carries.  Chad Lawrence completed 16 of 27 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Ryan Winkler caught eight passes for 96 yards.  Cory Crane added three receptions for 23 yards and a TD.  Zach Carroll led the defense with six solo tackles.  Kenneth Lockard added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Austin Baldwin chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 15 yards.  Baldwin also recovered a fumble.

Jerry Williams led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 47 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.  Jerry Williams completed 12 of 23 passes for 184 yards.  Blake Green caught six passes for 79 yards.  Sean Bryant led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Ryan Duzyk added five solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.
