Scott County (0-1)  vs.  Louisville Trinity (1-0)

Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Tamron Manning, 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-4 Sr. Tanner Shotwell, 6-0 Sr. Trey Relford, and 6-0 So. Quin Richardson.  Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-5 Jr. Nathan Dieudonne, 6-2 Jr. Troy Saxton, 6-5 Sr. Chancellor Armstrong, 5-10 So. Miles Rice, and 6-1 Jr. Charles Foster.

Scott County led 41-39 at the end of three quarters on their way to a 58-51 victory over Trinity.  There were eight lead changes and 10 ties in the game.  Scott County shot 43.8% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 24 Trinity turnovers.  Trinity shot 37.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Shamrocks connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Scott County turnovers.

Tamron Manning and Isaiah Ivey led Scott County with 18 points each.  Tanner Shotwell added 11 points.

Troy Saxton led Trinity with 15 points.  Chancellor Armstrong added 12 points.  Nathan Dieudonne recorded eight points and eight rebounds.
