Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Makenzie Graham, 5-9 Jr. Taylor Mynear, 6-2 Sr. Shomari Kendrick, 5-7 Jr. Emily Justice, and 5-7 Fr. Kenyale Demus. Bryan Station coach Karra Jackson countered with 5-9 So. Serena Sandusky, 5-9 Fr. Victoria McCoy, Hayley Crumbie, 5-7 Sr. Marissa Prince, and 5-6 Sr. Carrington Caise.
Marissa Prince hit a three point basket with 20 seconds left in the game to give Bryan Station a 54-52 lead on their way to a 55-52 victory over Lafayette. Bryan Station shot 39.6% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Defenders connected on 10 of 22 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 33 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 33.3% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on 21 of 33 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 25 Bryan Station turnovers.
6-0 Sr. Amber Crumbie led Bryan Station with 20 points. 5-7 Sr. Victoria Clark and Serena Sandusky added seven points each.
Shomari Kendrick led Lafayette with 28 points including 14 of 18 free throws, and pulled down 16 rebounds. 5-3 Sr. Jariana Gillespie added 10 points.
