Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Annamarie Campbell, 5-11 Sr. Monica McGreal, 5-11 Sr. Morgan Clemons, 5-4 Sr. Maddie Peabody, and 5-5 Sr. Hannah Washle.  Anderson County coach Tony Kays countered with 6-1 Jr. Sydney Brown, 5-9 Sr. Caroline McDowell, 6-1 So. Kali Whiteside, 5-5 Fr. Destiny Stewart, and 5-11 Fr. Makenzie Cann.

Sacred Heart held on to defeat Anderson County by a score of 49-48.  Sacred Heart held a 47-39 lead but Anderson County rallied down the stretch.  Sacred Heart shot 42.6% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on two of five free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 26 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 43.2% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bearcats connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Morgan Clemons led Sacred Heart with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Monica McGreal added 14 points and five steals.

Kali Whiteside led Anderson County with 17 points and 14 rebounds.  Makenzie Cann added 11 points including two three point baskets.  Caroline McDowell and Sydney Brown each scored nine points.
