Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.  Moore coach Larry Miller countered with 6-5 Jr. Mekale McKay, 6-3 Jr. William Bryant, 6-7 Sr. Deondre McWhorter, 6-2 Sr. Isaac Maddox, and 5-9 Jr. Daquan Boyd.

Madison Central eked out a close 64-62 victory over Moore.  The score was tied seven times and there were five lead changes.  Madison Central shot 41% from the field including five of nine from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 27 of 39 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Moore turnovers.  Moore shot 36.4% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Mustangs connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 21 points and seven rebounds.  Hunter Allen added 14 points and seven rebounds.  John O’Bryan chipped in with 12 points.

Deondre McWhorter led Moore with 22 points and nine rebounds.  Mekale mcKay added 14 points.  Daquan Boyd recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and seven assists.  6-2 Sr. Carlos Taveras chipped in with 10 points.
