Boyle County coach Greg Edwards started the following lineup: Sr. Michelle Howell, Jr. Michaela Megilligan, Jr. Natalie Settles, So. Chelsea Gill, and Sr. Megan Sutton.  Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning countered with 6-0 Jr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Jr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Jr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-7 Jr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-9 So. Octavia Wilson.

Lexington Catholic led 20-8 after the first quarter on their way to a 72-42 victory over Boyle County.  Lexington Catholic shot 38.6% from the field including one of six from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 26 Boyle County turnovers.  Lexington Catholic attempted 22 more shots (70-48) than boyle County.  Boyle County shot 31.3% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 17 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Alex Botkin added 12 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.  Emily Johns tallied nine points and eight rebounds.  Elizabeth Walton pulled down nine rebounds and Bonnie Rhule recorded seven points and seven steals.

So. Hannah Harris led Boyle County with nine points including two three point baskets.  Chelsea Gill and Megan Sutton each recorded six points.
