Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Jr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Jr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-7 Jr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-9 So. Octavia Wilson.  Central coach Ashley Franklin countered with 5-10 Sr. Crissa Washington, 5-8 Jr. Jarea Brice, 6-1 Jr. Nikcoa Jackson, 5-5 Fr. Joyce Delgado, and 5-9 Sr. Brianna Averette.

Lexington Catholic held a commanding edge (40-22) in points in the paint in a 62-49 victory over Central.  Lexington Catholic shot 54.5% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Central turnovers.  Central shot 29% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Yellowjackets connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 26 lexington Catholic turnovers.  Central attempted 25 more shots (69-44) from the field than Lexington Catholic.

Alex Botkin led Lexington Catholic with 23 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  Octavia Wilson added 12 points and six assists.

Brianna Averette led Central with 22 points including five three point baskets.  Crissa Washington added 12 points.
