Woodford County coach Jay Lucas started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Hannah Morgan, 5-9 5-11 Jr. Catie Fletcher, 6-1 So. Jessica Morgan, 5-9 Sr. Alyssa Lucas, and 5-6 Sr. Taylor Kelly.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-9 Sr. Mackenzie Graham, 5-7 Jr. Emily Justice, 6-2 Sr. Shomari Kendrick, 5-4 Jr. Sara Martin, and 5-3 Sr. Jariana Gillespie.

Lafayette led 37-16 early in the third quarter on their way to a 59-48 victory over Woodford County.  Lafayette shot 42.2% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 34.7% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Yellowjackets connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.

Shomari Kendrick led Lafayette with 25 points and 15 rebounds.  Jariana Gillespie added 12 points and Sara Martin recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.

Catie Fletcher led Woodford County with 14 points including four three point baskets and pulled down eight rebounds.  5-9 8^th grader Chelsey Ford added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Hannah Morgan chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds.
