Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Nick Trisko, 6-3 So. Tranard Chester, 6-7 Fr. Jackson Davis, 5-9 Fr. Charles “Snoop” Johnson, and 5-11 Sr. Jalen Wilkerson.  Dunbar coach Justin Yeary countered with 6-3 Sr. Lamont Johnson, 6-0 Jr. Zach Herrin, 6-3 Sr. Sean Lamanna, 5-11 Sr. Clay Coyle, and 6-0 Jr. William Gary.

Lafayette outscored Dunbar 22-5 in the third quarter on the way to a 63-48 victory.  Lafayette shot 46.6% from the field including zero of eight from the three point line.  The Generals connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 26 Dunbar turnovers.  Lafayette held a 35-12 advantage in bench scoring.  Dunbar shot 37% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on five of 16 from the free throw line, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers.

6-1 Sr. Dee Yarbrough led Lafayette with 22 points.  Jackson Davis added 12 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Clay Coyle led Dunbar with 16 points including two three point baskets.  William Gary added 11 points and Lamont Johnson pulled down 13 rebounds.
