LCA coach Jason Seamands countered with 5-8 Fr. Katelin Bundy, 5-11 Sr. Kelli Rinehart, 6-1 Jr. Kristen Jacob. 5-4 Jr. Kelli Mitchuson, and 5-5 Sr. Rachel Cox.  Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning countered with 6-0 Jr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Jr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Jr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-7 Jr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-8 So. Octavia Wilson.

Lexington Catholic shot a sizzling 68% from the field in the second half to defeat LCA by a score of 72-54.  Lexington Catholic shot 50.9% from the field including two of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 36.6% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Alex Botkin led Lexington Catholic with 30 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Botkin was 12 of 17 from the field and six of nine from the free throw line.  Octavia Wilson added 15 points, seven assists, and four steals.  Emily Johns chipped in with 11 points and six steals.  Elizabeth Walton also reached double figures with 10 points and five rebounds.

Katelin Bundy led LCA with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Kelli Rinehart added 10 points and seven rebounds.  5-9 Fr. Allie Evans also recorded 10 points.  Kristen Jacob recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Rachel Cox dished out seven assists.  Kristen Jacob and Kelli Rinehart both fouled out for LCA.
