Elizabethtown coach James Haire started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Chris McDonald, 6-2 Sr. Cory Farrow, 6-5 Sr. Mitchell Henry, 6-1 Jr. Janzen Flood, and 5-11 Sr. Terry Jones.  Daviess County coach Caleb Smith countered with 6-3 Sr. Tyler Lashbrook, 6-4 Sr. William Stevenson, 6-4 Sr. John Allen, 5-10 Jr. Paul Wilkerson, and 6-2 Sr. Christian Belcher.

Daviess County led 53-37 in the third quarter but Elizabethtown rallied for a 86-85 victory in a high scoring thriller.  Elizabethtown shot 54.9% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  They connected on 25 of 29 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 15 Daviess County turnovers.  Daviess County shot 49.2% from the field including nine of 25 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 12 of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Elizabethtown turnovers.

Mitchell Henry led Elizabethtown with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Chris McDonald and Cory Farrow added 19 and 16 points respectively.  Janzen Flood and Terry Jones chipped in with 15 and 11 points respectively.

Tyler Lashbrook led Daviess County with 27 points including five three point baskets.  Christian Belcher added 23 points including four three point baskets.  John Allen and William Stevenson chipped in with 14 and 10 points respectively.
