Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Annamarie Campbell, 5-11 Sr. Monica McGreal, 5-11 Sr. Morgan Clemons, 5-6 Sr. Hannah Washle, and 5-4 Sr. Maddie Peabody.  Assumption coach Stephanie Greathouse countered with 5-9 Sr. Maggie Hartlage, 5-9 So. Katie Friedrich, 5-10 Jr. Morgan Foley, 5-8 So. Dee Dee Sliter, and 5-7 Jr. Becca Durbin.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Assumption tonight by a score of 58-44.  SHA shot 38.5% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 24 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 24.4% from the field including two of seven from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 22 of 32 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 SHA turnovers.

Monica McGreal led SHA with 22 points.  McGreal was eight of 13 from the field and six of eight from the free throw line.  Morgan Clemons added 12 points and nine rebounds.

Morgan foley led Assumption with 13 points and nine rebounds.  Dee Dee Sliter added eight points and six rebounds.  Katie Friedrich pulled down 12 rebounds.
