Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-0 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.  Mason County coach Chris O’Hearn countered with 6-2 Jr. Tyler Black, 6-1 Jr. Josh Harris, 6-9 Sr. Treg Setty, 5-10 Jr. Cody Hamm, and 5-10 Sr. Jordan Gilbert.

The score was tied 41-41 after three quarters but Madison Central outscored Mason County 22-13 in the final quarter to claim a 63-54 victory.  Madison Central shot 52.6% from the field including three of seven from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 20 of 30 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 45.9% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Royals connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 30 points and seven rebounds.  Hawkins was 16 of 21 from the free throw line.  Hunter Allen and Brenton Covington added 13 and 11 points respectively.

Jordan Gilbert led Mason County with 23 points including six three point baskets.  Treg Setty added 15 points.
