Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Taylor Barnette, 6-1 Jr. Patrick Nickodem, 6-4 Sr. Chris Staton, 5-8 So. Tyler Harville, and 5-10 Sr. Carter Helton.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Justin Yeary countered with 6-3 Sr. Lamont Johnson, 6-1 Jr. Zach Herrin, 6-4 Sr. Sean Lamanna, 5-9 Fr. Donnie Lewis, and 5-11 So. William Gary.

Paul Dunbar led 22-21 at halftime but Lexington Christian outscored the Bulldogs 20-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 55-42 victory.  Lexington Christian shot 40.5% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 19 Paul Dunbar turnovers.  Paul Dunbar shot 42.9% from the field including zero of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on only six of 21 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Lexington Christian turnovers.

Taylor Barnette led Lexington Christian with 16 points and seven rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Gal Tesler, Tyler Harville, and Patrick Nickodem added eight points each.

Lamont Johnson led Paul Dunbar with 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Sean Lamanna added 10 points and eight rebounds.  6-2 So. Jalen Adu-Peasah chipped in with eight points.  William Gary recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
